Drawer organiser 80cm

80cm is the widest standard kitchen drawer in UK kitchens — found in newer kitchens with full-extension runners, premium fitted units, and IKEA® MAXIMERA in 80cm cabinets. An 80cm drawer organiser unlocks layouts that smaller drawers can't support: four modules across, double cutlery, full knife block plus everything else.

What fits an 80cm drawer

  • Four modules across. Fork & Spoon 8×5 (32cm) + Compact Knife Block 10×3 (12cm) + Long Utensil 9×3 (36cm) — 80cm exactly. The cutlery + safe knife storage + long utensils combo in one drawer.
  • Double cutlery. Two Fork & Spoon 8×5 modules side by side (64cm) plus the Knife Block 14×4 underneath — wait, knife block is 56cm; total 64cm + 56cm vertically = full coverage. The full cutlery library plus seven-knife storage in one drawer.
  • Cutlery + full knife block + utility. Fork & Spoon 8×5 (32cm) + Knife Block 14×4 (56cm) — 88cm, doesn't fit. The 80cm caps at one wide knife block + one Fork & Spoon, not three modules.
  • The Cutlery Drawer pack. The Cutlery Drawer-Fit Pack 80×60 bundles the optimised cutlery + utility layout for IKEA® MAXIMERA 80cm.

Stacked tiers at 80cm

An 80cm drawer with internal depth over 8cm opens up stacked tiers. Lower tier: cutlery + knife block + utility. Upper tier: serving cutlery, dessert spoons, second cutlery set. Doubles the drawer's capacity in the same width and length. See stackable drawer organiser for the structural pattern.

Where 80cm drawers cluster

Modern UK kitchens with 80cm cabinets typically have 70–76cm internal width drawer boxes once you account for the cabinet-face overhang and runner clearance. Always measure the drawer interior; the cabinet face tells you cabinet, not drawer.
